What do active volunteers do?

In general, the areas where help is needed fall within the three following categories

  • Helping with a production. The roles include the director / production assistants, the designers, the artists, the tech, the stagehands, the front-of-the-house’s, etc.

  • Event organization. These events could be the formal CTC events such as the Play Readings, the Open Stage and the regular CTC Members’ Parties. They could also be casual social events for the CTC members, such as a movie night, a pub crawl, a game day, etc.

  • Publicity. This includes documenting CTC events via various types of media, designing promotional materials for both CTC productions and CTC as a whole, creating social media content, etc.

Non-professional theatre groups like the CTC cease to function without their volunteers. No help is too small!
